The Beginning

Every company begins with a story. Mine is no different. As someone who was always considered an athlete, it was odd for me to feel like I was struggling with my own fitness journey. I ran track, cross country, and even played tennis for a D1 school. I thought I was doing everything right. Although I constantly struggled with chronic injuries throughout college, I was extremely disappointed in my own physique even though I was running 50+ miles a week. I began to think maybe I needed to try something different.

Straight after college, I went to work for an international sports travel company. Here, not only could I work on my own fitness, but I could share my love for sports and fitness with others. Unfortunately, then 2020 happened. Enough said.

I changed gears and started working at a corporate job that quickly consumed all my time. It was going great, and I was climbing that corporate ladder. Until I realized one major thing: my health was suffering tremendously. I had lost weight and muscle due to stress and inactivity. All the things I prided myself on as an athlete, I wasn’t able to do anymore. I had a pivotal moment where I realized I had enough. From then on, I grabbed control of my life, made a plan, and pulled myself out of that cycle. It wasn’t easy. Fast forward a few years later, and I quit my full-time corporate job to become a personal trainer. Which, I get, may seem odd, but I truly believe this is my life calling: to help others on their fitness journey and finally break out of perpetual cycles that have been holding them back from what they ultimately want and know they are capable of.

I, too, know how difficult it is to feel so completely lost, like your progress has plateaued, or to not know which information to turn to because of all the noise in the fitness industry. That’s where Everfit began. We take a science-based approach to health and fitness in a holistic way so you see results and can actually stick to a plan without feeling miserable.
